What is a Telraam network?

Thanks to funding from the UK Government, we have been able to install a network of 10 Telraam sensors across the town centre.

Telraam offers a smart, affordable, and easy-to-use device for gathering multi-modal traffic data.

Our sensors keep an eye on the street, capturing data on the number of vehicles, cyclists, pedestrians, and much more!

Telraam’s network opens up insights, turning traffic data into a meaningful outputs available to everyone. This makes traffic information more accessible for our town, enhancing the way we understand and manage our streets.

We will use these cameras to monitor levels of traffic, walking and cycling, and hope to show a positive trend towards more footfall, walking and cycling across our town.
